The National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America, NANNNA, has voted to adopt six new primary healthcare centers across Nigeria.
Rising from their 14th Global Health Conference held at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills Hotel on November 7th to 9th, 2024, with the theme “Global Health Priorities: Nursing at the Center of Healthcare,” the association said the six new healthcare centers will make it a total of nine (9) projects adopted since 2019.

The conference brought together speakers and guests from diverse professional groups. It also provided an opportunity to present varied perspectives on current and emerging healthcare issues, with a focus on organizations, communities, and society at large.
Towards this initiative, NANNNA has laid down procedure to be followed in adopting the six new centers across Nigeria. The selected healthcare centers will be expected to plow the funds into improvement of existing care, capacity building of healthcare providers, data management and record keeping, engagement of partners including community engagement and TeleHealth.
Already, NANNNA has concluded arrangements to support each approved center with a maximum grant of 6000US dollars totaling 36000USD.
